How PDF watermarking works
Upload your PDF, choose between text or image watermark, and configure the settings. Text watermarks let you add phrases like “CONFIDENTIAL” or “DRAFT” with customizable font size, color, opacity, rotation, and position.
Image watermarks let you overlay a logo, stamp, or signature on every page. Adjust the opacity and scale to make it subtle or prominent, and choose where to place it.
The watermark is applied to every page of the PDF using pdf-lib, entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server.

Can I add both text and image watermarks?
You can choose either a text watermark or an image watermark per operation. To add both, apply one watermark first, then upload the result and apply the second.
Can I adjust watermark opacity?
Yes. Use the opacity slider to control watermark transparency from fully transparent (0%) to fully opaque (100%). The default is 30% for a subtle, non-intrusive watermark.
Is the watermark added to every page?
Yes. The watermark is applied to every page of the PDF with the same settings. This ensures consistent branding or marking across the entire document.
